Bring Your Breakfast Talent to The Hidden Egg as a Cook / Chef:

The Hidden Egg is seeking a dependable Cook / Chef to create standout breakfast sandwiches, brunch favorites, and classic American comfort dishes for a growing Bluffton dining destination. This is an excellent opportunity for a line cook, breakfast cook, prep cook, or aspiring chef who enjoys fast paced morning service, takes pride in consistency, and wants to grow with a close knit restaurant team.

What You Will Do:

• Prepare delicious breakfast and brunch menu items, including breakfast sandwiches, eggs, pancakes, etc 
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and dietary restriction procedures while keeping your station clean, stocked, and organized.
• Collaborate with a supportive team, communicate clearly during service, and bring a calm, dependable approach to busy brunch hours.
• Contribute ideas for menu planning, scratch cooking, specials, and efficient food cost management as you grow with the restaurant.

What You Bring:

• You have hands on cooking experience as a cook, chef, line cook, breakfast cook, short order cook, or similar culinary professional.
• You can consistently produce high quality breakfast and lunch dishes with attention to flavor, timing, portion control, and presentation.
• You are available to work weekend morning shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• You understand safe food handling practices and have a ServeSafe certification, or are willing to complete training and testing after hire.
• You are reliable, positive, coachable, and eager to become a valued long term member of a growing restaurant team.

Nice to have 

• A Culinary Arts degree or formal culinary training is welcomed, though practical kitchen experience and a strong work ethic are equally valued.

Pay and Schedule:

• Earn $18 to $21 per hour based on experience, with tips included.
• Enjoy flexible scheduling within a part time, in person weekend position in Bluffton, South Carolina.
