Role Description The Fitness Consultant role is an on-site position based in Tennessee, United States. This role focuses on welcoming and guiding members, conducting fitness consultations, and supporting individuals in setting and reaching their health and wellness goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining gym services and programs, demonstrating proper use of equipment, and recommending appropriate training options. The Fitness Consultant also engages in member outreach, responds to inquiries, assists with scheduling personal training sessions, and helps maintain a clean and safe club environment. Collaboration with the club team to promote memberships and enhance member satisfaction is a core part of this role. Qualifications Background or strong interest in the Fitness Industry , with an understanding of gym operations and current fitness trends. Excellent Communication skills for explaining programs, educating members, and working effectively with team members. Proven Customer Service/Sales abilities, including a friendly, supportive approach and responsiveness to member needs. Experience or education in Training and Personal Training , such as guiding workouts, developing basic fitness plans, or holding relevant certifications. Ability to work on-site with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed. Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a commitment to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for all members. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in exercise science, kinesiology, or related fields is beneficial.
