Assumption Middle School and High School – Grades 7–12 Assumption Middle School and High School is seeking passionate, faith-filled educators to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. We are currently hiring for the following teaching positions: High School Science Teacher Some roles may be available on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in assigned subject areas Differentiate instruction through a variety of teaching strategies, including small-group and individualized learning Maintain a structured, safe, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes a love of learning Assess student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date academic records Communicate effectively with students and parents through conferences and ongoing collaboration Foster spiritual development and model Catholic values in daily interactions Supervise students’ and uphold positive behavior expectations aligned with school policies Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development, and school initiatives Adhere to all policies and expectations set forth by the Diocese of La Crosse Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required Valid Wisconsin teaching license (or eligibility to obtain one) Prior teaching experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills A demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Assumption Catholic Schools #J-18808-Ljbffr
