Real Estate Legal AssistantProxy Legal Staffing & Search Group has partnered with a local firm to find a real estate legal assistant! Responsibilities include preparing, reviewing, and editing real estate and closing-related documents. Coordinating and scheduling closings, appointments, and other transaction-related activities. Providing administrative and legal support to attorneys and the Real Estate Group. Assisting with residential real estate transactions from contract through closing. Preparing and reviewing Closing Disclosures and HUD-1 Settlement Statements. Utilizing SoftPro closing software to support transaction and closing processes. Communicating with clients, lenders, title companies, real estate agents, and other parties involved in transactions. Maintaining organized and accurate transaction files and documentation. Assisting with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.Qualifications include prior experience supporting residential real estate transactions. Familiarity with title insurance and the real estate closing process. Experience preparing or reviewing Closing Disclosures and/or HUD-1 Settlement Statements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and WordPerfect. Experience using SoftPro closing software preferred/required. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and administrative skills.
