Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intermediate Care Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current critical care or telemetry experience required. License: Current and valid driver's license or state-issued ID required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Candidates must be willing to float to meet facility needs. Description: This position involves providing care to adult patients and geriatrics in an intermediate care setting. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 4:1. Daily responsibilities include overseeing critical patient conditions, administering medications, and utilizing advanced medical equipment. Interdisciplinary support is available from various teams, including respiratory services and pharmacy. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in managing ventilated patients, interpreting arterial blood gases, and administering IV medications. Experience with telemetry, managing dysrhythmias, and performing phlebotomy is essential. The work environment includes a commitment to infection control and maintaining patient privacy. Floating to different areas may be required as necessary to meet care demands. All submissions must include supervisory references. Qualified candidates will display strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A valid utility bill reflecting the current address is also required for verification purposes. Please ensure that all documentation is current and accurately reflects the required standards for submission. Compliance with health and safety regulations must be adhered to throughout the tenure of the contract. Candidates with a history of license issues will not be considered. Gaps in employment history of three months or more should be explained clearly. Traveling nurses must have a minimum of one year separation from previous employment within the system.
